Step in and step out in Prahran from Fifty Eight Porter Street, a new address that balances contemporary sophistication with the vibrant charm and character of Prahran. A collaboration between developers Outline and Cera Stribley Architects, Fifty Eight Porter Street reflects the neighbourhood’s industrial background and its celebrated energy and personality. It’s sophisticated, authentically green and decidedly local.
Fifty Eight Porter Street isn’t just captivating from the outside. The interiors break with convention, offering sophisticated colour schemes and smart design choices to define a new living experience.
Fifty Eight Porter Street is informed by a series of guiding pillars — to make an impact, to embrace local living and to be consciously green.
While distinctly of its place, Fifty Eight Porter Street bears the hallmarks of a project by Outline. Featuring a refined palette of finishes that are contemporary and sophisticated, every gesture has been carefully designed for evolving lifestyles.
The refined and considered entrance experience is immediately calming, complementing the greenery of the neighbouring park. Within the residences, steel detailing highlights bold colour scheme options, everyday elements make statements, integrated storage is abundant and generous balconies connect with open plan living areas to accommodate a life of shared experiences.
A liveable place is a connected place. Fifty Eight Porter Street is the nexus of Prahran – even as it sits back from main thoroughfares and amid lush greenery. A tranquil walking path leads directly into the heart of Prahran and every conceivable amenity. Stroll to Greville Street, Prahran Square, Prahran Market and Grattan Gardens. And when you need to go further afield, Prahran Station and multiple tram lines are just minutes away.
Fifty Eight Porter Street introduces a new element into Prahran’s uplifting green spine.A neighbouring pocket park, to be delivered by Stonnington Council, becomes the building’s backyard and connects surrounding parks. The address becomes part of a walkable green link to Grattan Gardens, Prahran Square and beyond.
Cera Stribley’s design creates a fluid and sensitive relationship to the pocket park. Its curved form creates space for the park and a green thread is woven along the heavily glazed façade through planter boxes. The transparency and reflectivity of the glazing allow the building to blend in with the soft nature of the landscaping and the surrounding parks.
Fifty Eight Porter Street is another carbon-neutral project by Outline – evidence that considered design can ensure everything for a refined life while leading the way to a greener, friendlier community. Energy-efficient design features contribute to lower running and maintenance costs, creating long-term financial benifit.
